Volunteer

With the senior population in Rockingham County projected to increase dramatically over the next 20 years, it is necessary that ADTS work diligently to try to meet this ever-growing need. The success of many of our programs depends on the help of community volunteers , whose roles will only grow as the needs grow in our community.  That is why we need YOU!

Meals on Wheels

If you're interested in becoming a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer, call Ann Boyte, Director of Nutrition at336-349-2343.

Meals with Friends

We're looking for someone to handle the following responsibilities:

• Assist site manager and aid in serving the lunch
• Serve as the meal site host or hostess
• Help prepare the meal site and help clean up
• Assist with activities or programs

Friendship Adult Day Center

We're looking for someone to assist with keeping participants safe and comfortable.  Especially needed are folks with special talents, such a singing dancing, handcrafts, story-telling who are willing to give a few hours a month.
